WHY WE DO NOT CARRY WHITE SAGE OR PALO SANTO - Raven Moon’s Oracle has stopped carrying White Sage & Palo Santo in a gesture of respect to our Indigenous Brothers and Sisters. These items are considered sacred medicines of theirs. Due to centuries of systemic oppression, these sacred plants and ceremonies were made illegal to the Indigenous with egregious consequences.
Not to mention, the overwhelming demand has also caused these sacred plants to become extinct in some areas due to unethical overharvesting.
Any of our other sages will produce the same effects as White Sage, therefore we do not need to contribute to furthering this negative cycle.
